welcome to the official Operation7 Season I Match-day Schedule Thread.

 

In this thread you can find the whole Operation7 Schedule for the Premiere League. Please check out your Schedule and don't forget to upload your Match Result in the designated Match-Result-Thread.

 

Please note: The free victories against the three disqualified clans Inside, FiGhTWin, ImX, Irrepressible, KAMAZ, Gurkhas, Spain7 & UNB will always be added after the conclusion of each Match-Day.

sorry for complaining but snake coil and offshore are no competitive maps. you should change it for balistic and redbrick.

Always feel free to suggest and add feedback. In this case, we changed Snake Coil to Ballistic. But we like to keep Offshore.

Because we felt that Snake Coil was the least famous played map from the start anyway. We were already - well not unhappy - but uncomfortable with this map. We don't like Ballistic that much either, but if the community feels more comfortable with this map than with Snake Coil, a change was possible to be made.

 

In case of Offshore, Offshore has kind of the same problematics as Sand Storm does, even though Sand Storm has a high popularity. In Demolition mode - Sand Storm is a different map than in other modes. Due to the Season's ability to offer an Away and a Home Trip on each map, one of the core goals of the Season will be to put a lot of effort into "stealing" a victory on the "Away-Trip". We see that same goal shared on the Map Offshore. In addition to that, we have the feeling that actually a lot of maps are kind of underrated and don't get that much attention, sadly. Some deserve that more than others, but that is kind of a different topic, which can be discussed on a different thread. If "stealing" a victory on said maps is truly impossible and every single Clan will play 1:1 on those maps, there is nothing lost and nothing gained for each clan which isn't great, but neither sad as well. We are actually excited to find out exactly that. Different map, different tactic and different Season core goal.

There is also another Point regarding Offshore and Snake Coil.

 

In Offshore you actually only have 1 unfair Bomb, which is A. To get into the B Bomb in Offshore it takes a while, even with Fullcash Items. In Snake Coil the A and B Bomb are both unfair, if you run 5 seconds you can reach A, also the B Bomb which makes a defeat of Bombs in Snake Coil nearly impossible if you have a good Team. As Sparrow said: You have a "Home and Away Trip" so it means you play both sides. In any case, if you loose in those Maps it doesn´t really matter since you will continue playing and the Clan with the most Points will win the League. For a Win you get 3 Points, 1:1 you get 1 Point and a loose no Point.

snack сoil is an old map. I think many people know, while Offshore know a few people, and especially Offshore quite unbalanced map.

The problem with both Snake Coil and Offshore is that they are heavily favoured by the blue side because you can plant the bomb within 5-6 seconds of the round starting - so you are protected by spawn protection when running to the bomb. That is not the case with sand storm, as it is only in favour of the yellow side if you have a stamina injector and also you can easily be intercepted through the entrance of the hallway.

And regarding the home and away games, the results will just be 8-7 both times: and a very boring 40 minute game :s

Always a pleasure. Even if I am somewhat distant to some, I always work in the interest of the Community. Sadly not every wish can be granted. But those that can be, I am always willing to try for. Sadly trying is sometimes not enough. The last decision is always in the hands of the devs.

 

There is also another Point regarding Offshore and Snake Coil.

Actually winning gains you 3 points. Losing gets you nothing. But you play the same clan on the same map twice. So winning gains 3 points, losing gives your direct opponent 3 points, so you will leave the clan comparison with 3:3. Not 1:1. Just for clarification.

Maybe asking some clans for a practice match would help in this case ? Just a suggestion, though

Since we will have every score screen on camera, I am pretty interested checking out especially that claim.   Either way, there is a lesson to be learned and information to be gained for the second Season. If your claims prove to be correct, Offshore won't be taken as a map for the second season.

Ballistic is actually a really good demo map. Ppl in this game are just scared to play smth else than indu/arrow/pp. Had a lot of close cws vs HEK/ReEn/imX there

it still exist, like fightwin but those clans count a maximum of active member < 4.
they will be freewins :/
i've seen some clans popping up in the last 2 weeks that could replace them if they accept, even if partecipation thread is closed (i think that they are all no forum users )
